NOTE: In August 2001 DNA testing of blood found at the crime scene showed that the lab report indicating it was LaGuer's blood type was wrong. The DNA testing showed that blood State Police chemist Mark T. Grant identified as B/Type in fact belonged to the victim who had O/Type blood. Questions that must be asked are: Why did the prosecution decide not to have Mr. Grant testify at the 1984 trial? And why did they allow him to misrepresent the truth on the witness stand during a May 22, 1989 hearing?
